Shelly A. Groves received her Master of Public Administration from Long Island University and has over 16 years of experience in research administration. She is currently the practice administrator at Texas Children's Cancer Center where she provides administrative direction for the center's 18 programs to accomplish its clinical, research and academic missions. In her role she oversees strategic planning, monitoring and implementation plans, financial management of over $40 million, and human resources. Groves is currently pursuing the DBA from the University of Dallas where she is interested in strategic leadership and its impact on an organization’s growth and sustainability.
